ATLEE MULLET'S EXPERIENCE
I too had an experience
with a screech owl.
One Sunday walking home from the singing
a bright moonlight night
4 miles north of Sugarcreek
I was thinking of 3 deer
I saw that day
2 doe and a buck.
It was cold and very quiet
with no building in half a mile.
All of a sudden I heard an
awful loud screech!
I think I must have jumped to the moon
however I came back down again.
I started to look around
and up above me was
this owl
grinning
ear to ear.
