THE AFTER-ETERNITY the western wind has passed leaves in the trees no longer shake I can tell how content I am by the way I let myself go and don't regret anything or complain I tell the spider in the kitchen and the bare light coming over the hill and the still leaves covering their twigs we have lived forever already this instant has never passed we have been held in it unshaken this is simply the after-eternity we have set off to one side and now moved into where we try how it would be if time moved us
