APRIL the horizon is only the horizon if measured from a point inside me as it looks at me I am its horizon and it knows its center through my expanse then there is another point from which is seen a line between my center and the horizon's this line is not a new horizon but a verb beginning an imperative sentence or perhaps one twig among many branches that can be seen distantly and will flower if so I am the bud and must stay warm and pick my time with care aware of the season the true shape of the world what is expected and what surprises remain possible
